How to Deal With Discounts

  1. It is important to know that parents will do whatever they can to get money off their kid’s memberships
  2. Before these discussions happen it is important to know the price for each tier you are dealing with
  3. The first thing that needs to happen when parents bring this up is asking them how much they are willing to pay
  4. The next step in dealing with this would be to knock off a little amount (typically $200)
  5. If that doesn’t work, take off a little more ($100-$200)
  6. If it is over half off, the first thing you need to check is:
    • Tier size (does this tier need goalies?)
    • Time of year (ex. Right before training or is there time to get more goalies)
    • Double check with Andy and JJ
  7. Generally we don’t want the price to drop lower than $1,500 but there are cases out there where that happens so make sure to double check with Andy and JJ
