How to Deal With Discounts
- It is important to know that parents will do whatever they can to get money off their kid’s memberships
- Before these discussions happen it is important to know the price for each tier you are dealing with
- The first thing that needs to happen when parents bring this up is asking them how much they are willing to pay
- The next step in dealing with this would be to knock off a little amount (typically $200)
- If that doesn’t work, take off a little more ($100-$200)
- If it is over half off, the first thing you need to check is:
- Tier size (does this tier need goalies?)
- Time of year (ex. Right before training or is there time to get more goalies)
- Double check with Andy and JJ
- Generally we don’t want the price to drop lower than $1,500 but there are cases out there where that happens so make sure to double check with Andy and JJ
