- Arrive to the rink at least 20min before practice starts
- This will give you enough time to chat with coaches
- When you get to the practice, let the coaches know you are there and chat with them about things they see we could work on and where they want you
- Make sure you have a helmet and MEGA attire
- Have a structure to the 15(+) min you get
- Ex. 5-7 min of skating depending on goalies needs, 10 min of drills, Use iPad
- Have a theme for what your working on
- Progress the skating into the drill
- After the 15(+) min the goalies will go back to their teams for drills
- Communicate with goalies during drills
- Use iPad to help show things you see during drills
- After practice, talk with the goalie(s) on what they did well and things to improve on
- Also, chat with coaches thanking them for having us out and things you worked on to help educate them
- If parents are there, chat with them
- Once off the ice, give the goalies feedback in their accounts so the parents have an idea of what you worked on and what they need to work on
- This will also give you a better idea of what to work on for the next in-practice too
