What do the on-ice Assistants do?
- Before the ice session talk with the director about the plan
- Help bring out all of the tools needed for the day
- Jerseys, pucks, passers, ipad, tv, sticks, dangle tools
- Be early on the ice
- Assistant 1 gets nets and attendance on the ipad
- Assistant 2 get the proper tools out for the session
- Pucks, passers, pads, tires, dangle tools
- Once the director get the session going
- Skating drills
- Be a part of the drill
- Encourage the kids
- Watch for things you can teach kids, talk to at least one kid per drill
- Move tires and other tools around so the next drill can begin quickly

- Help teach kids to do the correct things during the drill

- Help director pick the game
- Assistant 1, help get nets set up, pucks moved, and tires into position for the game. Put anything not being used anymore back onto the bench.
- Assistant 2 gets the clock set and then helps Assistant 1
- Take turns doing feedback
- Finish attendance with win points
- End of the hour
- Help pick up pucks and on-ice tools
- Watch the jersey rack to make sure jerseys are put away properly (last session put rack back in locker room/storage)
- Help set nets on the boards
